KIIK (Kölner Institut für Interkulturelle Kompetenz e.V.) is a not-for-profit association whose work centres on intercultural themes in business and society. It researches intercultural phenomena and assists people and organisations in dealing successfully with intercultural challenges. KIIK develops training programs and training materials for the fields of intercultural communication, migration, cultural diversity and anti-discrimination; trains intercultural competence amongst executives and staff working either in companies or in social fields and the public sector; provides consultancy services for organisations that face the challenges of intercultural organisational development and the management of diversity. In the fields of research, development and transfer of knowledge, the KIIK works closely with the Intercultural Competence Research Unit of the Cologne University of Applied Sciences.
